Hey! I'm Anuradha!
Younger of the two siblings, I’ve grown up in an average Maharashtrian family. Having a father who was way ahead of his time in his unconventional headspace, and a simply amazing mom, was the best I could’ve gotten. The diligent student that I always was, my juniour college and graduation years were as box pleated and crisp as my skirt in St.Joseph’s High School. I’ve
changed 5 addresses in my hometown in my almost 47 years. The last 24 odd years have seen 15 years of dental practice( I’m a dentist), 9 years in business, overlapping with almost 8 years of language coaching. My professional trajectory has been interesting, to say the least.
Meanwhile, the default mode has been set to ‘Mom’ since 2001. From Johnsons’s babies to ‘the birds and the bees’ and beyond, I’ve seen my fair share. My ‘blue’ and ‘pink’ are both adults now, and surprisingly I’m still sane!
The most consequential decision in my parenting journey was 10 yrs back, when my son was 12 and my daughter, 10. I chose to shuffle priorities and roles, switching from the ‘Behind The Scenes Mom’ to the ‘On Screen Mom’. I switched from a working 9 to 9 to a full time mom. Looking back, I realise I wouldn’t have done it any other way.
10 years later, here I am, sharing my stories of learnings, errors, of things done right and those done not so right, my honest and unfiltered insights on the reality that parenting has been. And, while parenting takes the lead on the broad gauge, a lot rolls alongside on the default meter gauge track. Here come my adaptations of ‘the survival of the fittest’ tales I’ve gathered along the journey full of surprises!
Enfin, I’m just here talking my talk after walking my walk. So, a warm thank you for making the time to follow up the link and reading this.
I’m eternally grateful to the Universe, and the most beautiful Louise Hay 🤍
Love.
